Where can I get proof of pregnancy for free?

An over-the-counter pregnancy test can be a good place to start, but you’ll need proof of pregnancy to verify viability and how far along you are. We can conduct a medical-grade urine pregnancy test if you think you might be pregnant. This test detects the presence of the hormone hCG, which the body produces during pregnancy.

While a positive over-the-counter pregnancy test is a possible indication of pregnancy, only an ultrasound can confirm a pregnancy and determine both viability and gestational age. A limited ultrasound can be performed as early as 6 weeks from the first day of a woman’s last menstrual period. It is the only definitive way to diagnose a healthy, progressing pregnancy.

During an ultrasound scan, a medical professional will ensure the pregnancy is occurring inside the uterus, look for and measure the heart rate, and measure the fetus to establish an estimated due date. This scan takes approximately 15 minutes or less, is painless, and provides valuable information to aid in your decision-making process. It is important to note that limited ultrasounds do not diagnose fetal abnormalities or gender.

If you are considering abortion, an ultrasound is an essential step in the decision-making process for various reasons. These include the varying times of ovulation and gestational age based on a woman’s last menstrual period is not always the same as it is via ultrasound If you are more than 11 weeks pregnant, have certain health conditions, or are experiencing an ectopic pregnancy, you are not eligible for the abortion pill. The above factors, along with the type of pregnancy you are experiencing will determine the cost of an abortion. As a 501c3 non-profit that does not provide or refer for abortion services, we never profit from your pregnancy decision but can provide cost-free care and pregnancy support.

In some cases, the ultrasound will show a nonviable pregnancy. Our team is well-trained to support and refer you for further medical care. Choosing an abortion without all the facts, or without taking a glimpse into what is happening inside your body could negatively impact your health.
